Law as a profession is one of the most in-demand programs in the country, in particular in the Magdalena Department. The University of Magdalena trains a lawyer who has an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, with a research leadership that contributes to the growth of knowledge. A professional who can solve social, economic, environmental, cultural, and political problems through outreach projects, a person capable to emphasize sustainable human development and promote recognition and respect for the values that identify the Caribbean Region. The legal professional must be a visionary to the world where he works as well as diligent in academic research to be aware of the regulatory evolution of social development and in turn, he should be a bilingual lawyer aware of globalization, allowing him to be a highly competitive professional.
